Have you tried more than one search engine - they sometimes have stuff others don't. Have you tried a2a? Failing that, you should be able to get some info from either the local record office or from Lancaster public library. LN |

I believe there used to be an Almshouse on Queens Street (1-7 I think) in Lancaster. Does anyone know when it existed and who the occupants were. I am specifically looking at the early 1960s. Searched the net but nothing so far. Any help gratefully received!! Sarah |
