Hi, Any idea where to start? My dad visited them at 26 Grove Street Greenwich Village during WW2. They were Uncle Jim and Aunt Rose Black? Anything to help me get started would be appreciated.

Hi again Barry, Have a look at Sylvia Poyntz's thread further down as well about web.sites to search for relatives. Good Luck Sheila

Barry, If they were there in 1930 you might be able to find them on a census and get details of ages. You could then look here for death details. http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb*com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi Crista
