Can anyone help with a street name please I have a birth cert for 1867 and the only bit I can't read properly is the street name. It looks like 22 Stansoll or Stanrose Terrace? Does it still exist? It could possibly be an army billet as the father was a Staff Sergeant with the 41st regiment Any thoughts please Sylvia |

Hi Sylvia, Went to my local library and looked for addresses. There was nothing to match Stansoll or Stanrose terrace. But there was Stranraer Row, Sunderland Avenue and Southampton Row, these are all connected with the Military. I know Stranraer Row were Army quarters. Only in the last few years have been sold off to the public. Karen : ) |
