Lynne Census Returns " Those for Ireland only survive for 1901 and 1911 and are at the National Archives, Dublin, with copies at the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland. " source: this website. I don't think they are available online, but you could try googling with a specific county and see what comes up - there may be bits available. Helen

Helen I know there are some for Roscommon somewhere as I have looked at them in the past. However, I do not have a county and thought there may have been a general site for 1901. Thanks anyway. Lynne

Online 1901 and 1911 Irish Census records are very patchy. You can pull in records from your local LDS centre for a very reasonable fee but this does mean knowing where your ancestors came from as these census are not indexed. some counties have better coverage than others online and one of the better counties is Cork. But you do need to hook your ancestors into a county at least. Janet
