Hi Helen. I believe I've sent three emails during the past several months, and I don't want to be a pest, so I'm not too comfortable about sending another. When we first contacted each other I was able to give him information about his ancestor (whom I had thought was mine) and actually had a photograph of a painting that was done with the family (1840's) and gave him a copy of it. Now it appears that my ancestor is once again linked with that family and I would either like to confirm it or confirm that we aren't linked (he would have the answer). I will try his ISP, thank you! Josephine, I know my mum can check her mail to see if the person has opened it; I'm not sure that I can, but I will certainly try. Thank you both very much. I have two major "brickwalls" and this is one of them. Thanks again, Lisa

Lisa I don't know. Could you try sending a message with URGENT PLEASE RESPOND in the heading? Could you contact his ISP? They might not give you his address but they could perhaps confirm that he has received the e-mails, or that the e-mail address is still current. Helen

I've been trying to contact a possible relative (I was last in touch with him 2 or 3 years ago). I believe I only have his email address. He has not returned my emails, which is very unlike him. Would anyone have suggestions of how I can check his email address? My emails are not being returned so I think they might be reaching him. Thank you, Lisa.
