trying to run live update and keep getting error mesage LU1803. Any suggestions ??? sally

Sally: On rare occasions, one has to visit the Symantec (Norton) website to obtain an update. Follow the link above in the post above mine and see if you are able to get the update you need there. Also, reboot your PC if you haven't done so recently....sometimes this fixes a lot of little glitches on your PC. Something else to keep in mind, although rare if you are keeping up with anti-virus updates and scanning for viruses, the first thing that many viruses do is to disable your anti-virus so that the anti-virus can't get rid of it. Make sure after you download the updates you scan your computer as well. Judy

Thanks for your replies Have tried both without success. Did a full system scan and no problems were found. Tried to install norton 2003 again and it says live update is running. I wish !!! They haven't done away with Norton 2003 have they ? Sally
