This is a repeat as the first e mail went wrong. I am looking for relatives of James Geo Swanson born 16.3.1908 in Thurso died 19.9.1992 married to Jessie MacKay born 2.3.1918 Bettyhill, Sutherland died 18.1.1997 Thurso, her parents were Angusina and Hector MacKay who lived in the Bettyhill area I remember Angusina was in her 80s in 1964. Any help you could give would be most welcome Regards Margaret

In case there's anyone out there who is researching family in Caithness, I have the indices(only) for Canisbay, Dunnet and Halkirk, and the MI books for the older cemeteries in Thurso/Reay/Halkirk, Latheron and Canisbay/Dunnet/Olrig/Bower. Also the 1881 Census CDs. I live in Elgin, Moray, and am happy to do research in the local genealogy centre (which is MEANT to be going online soon) and to wander around graveyards in Elgin, Lossiemouth- and possibly Forres.
