Hi All, Hopefully some of you can help. One of my Gt Grandad's brothers emigrated to South Africa i'm unsure when although i suspect after the 1881 census as he dissapears after then, he was a baker by trade but acording to several family members he later joined the South African police force and became an Inspector. Does anyone know how or where I can find any info to confirm this or how he would have traveled there? I asume he would have gone by ship, if so would there be any records of passengers travelling there. Many Thanks Michele |
