I got a lot of info for early years from the PARISH CLERK site. I just put DORSET PARISH CLERK into my search engine. I believe there are lots of parishes on the net. I found my gg grandfather with all his family! Also the L.D.S. vital record index is helpful for earlier records. |

hi david have you tried the LDS site? if not the address is www(.)familysearch(.)org remove the brackets lol they also have the 1881 census which is free to search susie |

Can anyone please get me started on researching BMD's before 1830. I haven't a clue where to start and now i'm really stuck cos i can't go back any further |
