I would be most grateful if anyone could give me any advice on tracing my parents ancestors. My problem is that they are all from Ireland and I do not have a clue where to start looking! Do I have to contact Ireland or can I do it over the internet? I really have no idea at all! I would really, really appreciate any advice that anyone could give me on this - Thanks Helen |

Hi Helen, My husband's family are from Ireland so I know the feeling. The Vital Recods Index or VRI, available on cdrom, has lots of Irish records. The website www(.)leitrim-roscommon(.)com has a lot of links and not just for those counties so give it a try. Best of luck! Helen |
