does anyone know how to trace a bigamist marraige. the marriage was annulled and there was a child, but i do not know the name of the bigamist but i do know that he was sen to prison for two years it was in the papers. the child was born after the annulment and took the womans maiden name. she was only made aware of her birth details at the age of sixteen and was never told who her natural father was. and she would like to find just his name. i have treid looking for the orginal entry of marriage but to no avial. is there a register of marraige annulments as i have been told that all entries are not removed as i first was led to believe. any help would be greatly apprciated......:-)

Hi If you know roughly where this took place and when, have you looked in the local paper archives for the story? Lynne
