Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 421 Send Message	Depending on the date of the record you might get father's occupation and address on a baptism entry, and you might get occupations of both fathers on a marriage entry. Stan

	The earlier ones - pre 1837 - will usually just give the basic details (John Smith married Ann Jones 2/5/1820 or Daniel Smith son of John baptised 3/8/1821). It depended on the vicar who was making the entry.

Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	Jean The marriage info does sometimes tell you if the bride/groom is "of this parish" or not, so it may be an indication about whether or not you will find their baptism details there. Helen
