Just go about a quarter of the way down that page and it will tell you about it. It looks like the middle names listed are "family" names, so you might find John Wright Smith but not John William Smith.

Geoff I didn't know that. Do you put the middle name in the search box instead of the surname then? Jeanette

Although I regularly use the Hugh Wallis batch numbers, I hadn't realised that you could search by MIDDLE name - but you can http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.*com/~hughwallis/ NB: I had to turn off my pop-up stopper to use this feature - if this applies to you, make sure to turn it on again!
