If Joseph and Mary were born in Ireland I would think their parents never came to England. This makes it much more difficult to find their deaths in Ireland, but at least you have their names. Also, Joseph and Mary might have presumed their parents were dead - it is not uncommon to find that a parent was not deceased even though it said so on the Marriage cert.

I have just recieved a marriage certificate which has given me two more 'new' names as the fathers of both the bride and groom are listed - hurray - BUT they are both 'deceased'. The wedding took place in 1878. Tried looking for death certificates but to no avail, looked up allsorts of combinations on LDS but nothing, any suggestions?? Cate
