For those of you who are researching SCHOLEY in London area I have the following info from a recently acquired marriage cert of Benjamin Benns who was married in Shadwell in 1859. Marriage Witness : TRUTH SCHOLEY. I was so intrigued & doubtful by the name that I looked it up on IGI and low... there HE was married to Elizabeth Young, 16/09/1810 St Mary at Hill, London ( M032101). Also from IGI was their son William Young Scholey born28/04/1812; bapt12/07/1812, Mulberry Gardens, Pell St, Lady Huntingdons, Stepney ( C097591). And another thing....John Truth Scoley born March quarter 1860, Stepney 1c 514 from Ancestry.co.UK. Hope this helps someone. Regards, Glynis |
