Hi Pauline Someone mentioned divorces on here a few days ago. They gave the following address and said that you could pay for a 10 year search and it cost about £20 a few years ago. I haven't checked this out yet to see if it's right but here's the address:- Principal Registry of the Family Division Decree Absolute Searches Family Proceedings Dept. I think divorce papers are private and not available like b/m/d certs, however you could try and see if they married again, I have a marriage cert and in the box for status it explains who and when he was divorced from (1923) Kim |
