sorry to be a pain but im wondering is there anyway to find out mothers maiden name on a marriage certificate without actually ordering it.I have 8 marriages and my birth mum is def one of them |

After 1911/12 the maiden name of the mother is shown on 1837 online next to the name of the child on the BIRTH certificate , before that date you would have to send for the certificate . Only father's names of bride and groom are shown on marriage certificate not mothers name (bit old fashioned innit!) i Kim |
