My PURDUEs are from Newbury originally but I have come across PURDUEs in London as well. Some of my Newbury PURDUEs moved to the London area as early as 1750, others in the 1800s. I would love to know more about the bible and wonder if any other associated names are mentioned. I have come across many other PURDUEs on other web sites who I am sure would love to know more about this bible. Some of them are seeking PURDUEs in London. Regards Carol

Kenneth, Don't know if their roots are in Edmonton, but I used to work with a lady who lived close enough for that to have been the case - will send you a mail with the names that I know. Maggie

Are there any of the Purdue family of North London out there. I have a bible with family details going back to 1812. Prove who you are, and it's yours for the cost of postage. Ken.
