Hi Kim What was the date and place of the marriage and do you have an idea of the area that the Cheesmans came from? What census records have you tried? Barbara

I thought I 'd do my father's side having got confused by my mothers, and low a nd behold have Cheesman's on both sides. I have a marriage cert for Emily Dale and Harry Cheesman, but the father of Harry is stated as James Cheesman deceased shoemaker. The only Harry Cheesman I can find on the census of the right age has a father Philip Cheesman and not James, nor is he a shoemaker. help please Harry Cheesman was 28 in 1890 ,so he should be born about 1861/2. Why do certificates lead to more problems than they solve!! Kim
