Newark - cemetery index?

ann hubbys rellies are all buried in newark cemetary and we found them really helpful as we live in bucks we asked hubbys cousin if she would mind having a look for us. she willingly went to the cemetary (as she still lives in newark) and spent all day looking through the records we now have the grave no's,next of kin and the ages of the dead rellies susie

Hi Ann. Newark cemetery does not have an index as such but they do have burial records in chronological order from when the cemetery opened in 1856. They are very helpful and initially would be happy to try and find the person by a phone call to the Town Hall - 01636 680333. Good luck Barbara

Does anyone know if there is an index to Newark cemetery (Nottinghamshire)? Thank you Ann
