Hi Margaret How about if you create some false names in the right places, and delete the wrong names, then rename the false names correctly? More straightforwardly. while deleting a name with ancestors can be a problem, if you are the starting point for the tree you should be able to delete your false grandparents and add your mother as your mother, then delete her as your sister. Then you can add your father, then your grandparents. If you have gone back further in time without realising your error, you may have to start again to add the earlier ancestors correctly. I think the only option you have is to delete the individual records which are wrong and re-enter them.

Can anybody tell me please how to straighten my family tree out!!! I have my parents as their grandparents and partners and my mum as her own daughter, I just cannot edit them so they go in the right place. Am I thick or wot (dont answer that pls).
