Hi, On Yorks Bmd - Joseph Fox to Florence Charlesworth at St Stephen, Burmantofts, Leeds 1901. There is a reference number there too to order the cert if you want. Good luck. Tracey

Deryn I would get the marriage certifficate to prove his father, that way you can be sure the one you find on the census is yours. Not only will it give both fathers but their occupation, and hopefully thier ages as well. You can order it on line it costs £7.00 and takes 4 days - a couple of weeks, only 4 days lately must have sorted out the back log. Good Luck Irene

Hi Deryn, Taken me ages to get this reply to you don't know whats the matter with the site tonight. I found them on 1881. Samuel Fox Head Age 29 born Leeds - Bread Maker. Sarah Ann Fox Wife Age 25 born Leeds - Bread Maker. Rose Ann Fox Dau Age 6 born Leeds - Scholar Lily Fox Dau Age 4 born Leeds. Joseph Fox Son Age 2 born Leeds Matthew Fox Son age 1 month born Leeds. Mary Mc Locklan Servant Age 13 born Leeds - Domestic Servant. Living at 1 Red Bear Yard, Leeds, York. Hope this is them. Maggie

Am having problems with my server and am trying to find Grandparents and Great Grandparents urgently for my Dad. The one night he is here with me and this happens! Joseph Fox Born 1879 in Leeds (my Grandad) Florrie (Florence) Fox nee Charlesworth Born 1885 in Leeds They were married just before the 1901 Census he was 22 she was 16 - thats all I know. Don't even know when she died (after 1971) - he died around 1950. I cant find out where and when exactly they were born or who their parents or siblings were. Any urgent help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
