Thanks all, I think I'll go with dropsy as the main cause of death then, why couldnt the registrars just write in a legible manner?! Sarah |

My dictionary says Hydrothorax - an accumulation of fluid in either or both pleural cavities, often resulting from disease of the heart or kidneys. |

It could be, I did wonder that myself! It also says hydrothorax, isn't that water on something?! Im obviously not a medical person! |

I am trying to decipher a death certificate and the cause of death as I read it appears to say "disposy" 6 months. Does anyone know what this may mean? Cheers! Sarah |
