HI MARION i went to york family history last saturday,3 floors of stalls and tables with history societies,books,censuses with so much information it was a lot to take in,but well worth a visit,there is a family history fair in september in LIVERPOOL. I would advise you to go and see for yourself just how much family history is on show.Calderdale family history society were kind enough to do an 1851 census search for my great grandad but of course he wasn't where i thought he would have been. give the fair in liverpool a go and let me know what you think about it. sue |

marion at YORK I bought the latest "THE Family & Local History Handbook 8th Edition & the 7th Edition,both for £10.the 8th Edition is retailing at £9-99.what a bargain,i would look out for the guy that sells them,he told me he would be going to most of the fairs. sue |

hi marion i took all cash but had flexy friend just in case, some people were taking cheque books and cheque guarantee cards,i never saw anybody using flexy friends. i hope you enjoy the fair,comfortable shoes are first prority lol sue |
