Sorry Ingrid, The entries only go up to 1903 for some reason. I do know that the Lancs BMD site has later marriages, not sure about divorce. If you are looking in this area try because I think it is free. If not this area perhaps all areas have similiar schemes? Abigail

Oo...oo! Could you look up a divorce for me pretty please? It's between James William Wilson (1895-1957) & Margaret Love Watson. I don't know the year but James married a 2nd time in 1949 and had a 3 year old daughter at the time, so I'm thinking the divorce papers must have come through around then! I have some credits left on this site, they have some divorces and military, medical, clerical, passport records. The searches are free on the site so if anyone has found a page that is not free for them to view let me know and I can do it. Regards Abigail
