Did you know that these two censuses are on the Dorset -OPC web site? For most parishes, still, unfortunately a few that haven't transcribed yet but not many. Unfortunately Morden is one of the unfinished ones, it would be, being the one I want to look at!! |

Thank you for this Ann. I have just received my g. grandmothers first marriage certificate. She apparently married a farmer from Sixpenny Handley which I believe is Dorset. I was going to ask for a look up but perhaps I will not have to do so now. Rosemary(Essex) |

Ann, I contacted the OPC for the area I wanted and have received a tremendous amount of information, with a promise of more to come. This has been so useful, thank you once again, Rosemary(Essex) |

Cheryl, I accessed the parish I wanted through Genuki. The address is www(.)uk-genealogy(.)org.uk/DOR/parishes(.)htlm Remove the brackets! Just choose your parish and find what is available. Good hunting, Rosemary(Essex) |
