Elaine: Although having the Temporary Internet folder ticked off to empty when browser is closed and having history saved set at '0" one should still go in and manually empty that particular file as it is still saving site pages there. It makes a big difference in having the settings ticked off as far as how much is actually retained in the folder, it still tends to keeps some things there....so you do need to empty it occasionally.

Thanks Ros, Have Internet Options set up to keep History 0 days and to delete Temporary files at log off. I delete Cookies every Sunday regardless !!! Thanks for your support. Have followed all of Judy's advice with PC Maintenance and have very very few problems normally. The IGI site was working OK again earlier when I went back on (Fingers crossed*) BUT then after an hour or so it started playing up again - so I took Sally Brown's advice above, - Works a TREAT now !! I won't be looking back ! ...THANKS SALLY for the advice. It's so much quicker to do it the way she explained as well ! You live and learn !! Thanks everyone for your much needed help and support. Elaine :-)

It was possibly a prob with the site rather than my PC. I shall be annoyed if it does it again now ...LOL. Elaine ;-) Toes, Fingers and Eyes crossed !!

Hi Elaine, A few months ago, the same thing was happening to me, I would get a list of people to view, look the first person, press the back option, page expired, but I found if I pressed "search results" (the 3 options above the name - Download and Pedigree) it didn't happen. Don't ask me why I found that choice, not a whiz on the 'puter!! Sally

Hi all, Can any of you PC buffs help with my particular prob. Never had this prob before today, so not sure whats happening. On various different web sites, if I've viewed a page and then use my 'back' button, I'm repeatedly being told that my page has expired ? My particular problem is more severe on the FamilySearch/LDS/IGI pages .. I have put in my search and its obviously given me several options. After viewing the 1st, I've then gone 'back' to view the other options but its telling me that 'Page Expired' so I have to start all over again with my search. Anyone know what might be wrong, or is anyone else having this prob ? Obviously, have had the page expired notice before ..but only when I've left the PC for more than a few minutes ..thats understandable and I can cope with that !! Its soooo annoying ! Help and advice MUCH appreciated Elaine :-)
