Christine Why not put a notice on this board under a new topic as you said her name ? please contact Christine Do it on the Tips board as well with luck she may see it and reply. One thing don't put your email on or phone number on line ask her to send her phone number to you via an email then you will be able to find out were your emails are going to. That is about all I can think of to help so hope it does. Good luck Irene

Thanks for all these suggestions. Unfortunately I have tried them all. The problem would appear to be that she has registered her e-mail address incorrectly with genes reunited, but of course when she sends messages to me, she sends them from the web-site, and they are forwarded to my e-mail address. However, when I reply, either in direct response to her e-mail or via the web site, both ways depend on the message being sent to her e-mail address, which does not exist! The only other idea I can come up with is to open up my tree to her (she has done this for me, but the only name she has entered is her own). Then if I invented a relation on my tree called "Avril Please Contact Christina" she might notice it!! Is this permitted!

Try going into Your Contacts in GR, if she contacted you via GR then her name should be one of the contacts. Click on "Click here to view the contents of the original email contact", then click on "send an additional email to this contact". That will then get a message sent to her to the email registered with GR.

When you reply do you hit your reply at the top of your emails, if she sent it to you it should go back even by GC/GR. You can then swap email addresses.

I've noticed some people post messages with the title FAO Joe Bloggs - if she looks at this board or any other you post to, it might catch her attention.

My second cousin has contacted me thro' genes reunited, but I can't reply to her because her e-mail address is not being recognised. I have been looking for her for ages, and am now so incredibly frustrated that she has contacted me (twice now) and I can't let her know I'm here!! I have tried leaving a message on the Trying to Find board, but she does not seem to be looking at it. Any ideas please as to how I might get in touch with her. All I know is her maiden name, married name and year of birth. I have tried 192.com to no avail.
