Can anyone help me in my quest to research my Gillard line. I have very little info to go on and have completely come to a brick wall. My great grandfather George Gillard was age 41 when he married Fanny E Bowden in 1917 in Chertsey, Surrey Birth date around 1876. According to their marriage certificate. It also states that George's Father was A John Gillard occupation Leather Parer. Who at the time of their marriage was Deceased. Unfortanutely it does not state the birth place of George only that he was Resident in Inverkeithing Scotland at the time of his marriage. I believe he may have served in the Army. This is all the information i have i Know George Died around 1947/48 in Yeovil Somerset. I also know his last known address 13 Stars Lane Yeovil. I am trying to find out information on John Gillard and who George's Mother was, and where they came from. Can anyone help me? Is it possible for someone to beable to do a look up or me for the 1901 census. I would be ever so grateful. Clare
