If you receive a virus alert make a note of the name.Do a google search for it.99,999 times out of 100,000 it will be a hoax.Of course if it isn't a hoax take evasive action, warn everyone and if its really bad, head for those hills!

I have received a message from an Australian cousin that warns of a very serious virus. It comes as an e mail entitled "World Trade Centre" or 9/11. or WTC Survivor. This e mail might come to you from a known contact or even a friend. This is because their address book has been stolen. DO NOT OPEN THIS UNDER ANY CONDITION Apparently it will destroy your hard drive by wiping all relevent start up files. Personally, I have not heard of this virus from any other source, but have no reason to doubt its existence. Roy (David) White
