Army Birth, now what??

Hi, Can anyone tell me please, were would I apply to get a birth certificate for a lass that was born in Corfu about 1851, her father was in the Black Watch at the time, so must have been on tour out there. Many thanks Valerie

I believe the GRO would have this, in their overseas section.
