HELP PLEASE DESPERATE TRIED FOR 6 HOURS

Please can you tell me how to stop. my E. Mail coming in I think it could be repeating itself or its jammed . On the bottom right it shows E. Mail coming in. on checking it says 2 of 16 .and never gets into my in tray. Im not full as Ive deleted most of my mail Please what can I do. Please can you put the answer on here as I cant get any Mails at all Thank you Joan

If the person sending you the e-mail has the wrong time set on their computer clock, a mail can be in your inbox but not at the top of the list. Try looking down the list of mails.

If someone is trying to send you a very large file that would explain what's happening - I know occasionally I have to email an accounting back-up file and because of the size it takes forever...all the while it is trying it will show as either 'sending' or 'receiving' (obviously depending which way its going!) It should get through eventually,but you need to make sure you don't stop the transfer part way through if possible, 'cos that can make it take even longer. Hope this helps, Sarah

Joan, I think it may be an email I sent you, I saved an image from the census and sent it, I didnt realise until after that it sent the whole area. I will try and see if there is any way that I can recall the email. In the meantime, try and put a BLOCK on my address and hopefully that will stop it from your end. Sue
