National Provincial Bank amalgamated with Westminster Bank to form NatWest. |

Hi - just checked on internet - became NatWest in 1968. Search for London and Provincial Bank if you want more info. Hope this helps |

I think it is now part of Natwest which is now part of Royal Bank of Scotland. Whoops no, that is National Provincial, but that may have incorporated London and Provincial. |

Hiya, Do any of you clever people out there know about bank takeovers and name changes?.I have THE LONDON AND PROVINCIAL BANK,Mitcham,Surrey in 1912.But cannot find out what it is now as I would like to research its history and any records etc. that may be held about it ?. Many Thanks, Elaine |
