1841 Horbling - looks like Tom was already married. William Ellingworth 50 AgLab (NOT born in Lincs, the others were) Elizabeth 50 Thomas 20 AgLab Mary 25? (male) 3? Mary 8m AGES (1841 only): 20 means 20-24yrs, 25 means 25-29 yrs etc.

1881 census they were living in Horbling according to LDS - she was born in Asgarby. 1861 Horbling Village William 45 Shepherd, Hacconby Ann 42 Asgarby Mary A 12 Scholar, Helpringham Henry 10 Scholar, Horbling Hacconby and Stainfield (his 1881 birthplace) are both a couple of miles north of Bourne. There are more Ellingworths in Horbling. Thomas 44 Butcher and Cottager, Horbling Mary 47 Rippingale Mary A 20 Billingborough Charles 14 Horbling Hannah 11 Horbling Thomas 1 Horbling Elizabeth Peck (vis) 78 AgLab's widow, Rutland Pickworth Sarah Ellingworth 40 (wid) Charwoman, Holbeach Mary Bullimore (dau) 8 Timberland Dales Fred Ellingworth 4 Horbling

Hi Denise, The Lincolnshire family history Society has compiled name indexes for all the censuses from 1841 to 1891. I should try their web page to see if someone can look the name up for you. I think that any large library in Lincolnshire will have copies of these fiche. Mary

in the 1881 census william ellingworth born 1816 and wife ann born 1817 were living in horbling, Lincoln, England but i cant find where they were before this or after. has anyone got any ideas.
