Hi Joy Did you know that the KFHS, have a cd rom that covers census Records 1841-1901 at the Chatham Dockyard. It cost £15 but if you are a member it only costs £10. If i had relatives in the Dock yard i would by it. Sarah

Hi Lynda Sorry, i did not know you also posted the same sort of thing on the other board.. I was going to do it about 2 months ago ,but i thought people would forget. Also as ive just got this quarters journal i thought it would be a good time to mention it. Thanks for the offer of look ups Sarah

Just to remind everyone the Kent Family History Society are having a 30th Birthday Open day. At the University of Greenwich, Medway Campus, Pembroke Building, Central Avenue, Chatham Maritime Kent ME4 4TB (near Chatham Dockyard & Medway tunnel) Saturday 3rd July 2004, 10am-5pm, FREE admittance and FREE Lectures . Food and refreshments available, FREE price draw at 3.45pm. Many other Family History Societies in attendance plus other genealogical traders present. KFHS research aids available. Lectures on :- Military Databases , Jacobite wars to world war 2. Coastquards. Tracing Births ,Deaths & Marriages at Sea. Licensed Thames Waterman & Lightermen.
