My mother in law was a Seckington, and I knew there was a village called Seckington not far from Tamworth. Loads of them appear to be in Northampton and some in Warwichshire. In 1891 there are about 70 of them but they are all in Northampton. So what happened to the Birmingham ones? On the 1901 census, Edwin Seckington is in Liverpool but is listed as being born in Birmingham. He is called Edward on the census, but on his sons birth certificate on on his marriage cert he is Edwin. I have tried many permutations of the name but cannot find any around warwickshire/staffordshire. Can anyone please work their magic to find them, or give me any suggestions? I'm using ancestry.com with no joy! Barbara
