help with i.g.i. site please

hi can anyone advise me please, i was looking on the igi. for marriages using hugh wallis site, and i clicked on somthing on igi. that got me to a page listing the surname i am researching for the whole of england, but the christian names were in alphabetical order, never seen any thing like this before and cannot find it again, been half the day trying to find it again help please, cos i bet thats where the info i need is marcie x

Hi Marcie, The LDS site (family search) lists alphabetically and that is the only place I have ever searched the IGI, but you will get the same name repeated.

If you leave the Batch number blank (on the HW site) but enter a surname, it will give what you describe.

Hi Marcie There are various options on the familysearch site, you could try the IGI just entering England without entering a county. Heather
