Wrong year,or wrong middle name?

William The dates on the stones would represent whoever ordered it and what dates they thought were correct. If they knew only an age and not a precise DOB, they may have calculated the wrong year. More chance that they would be sure of the name. Hope this helps. Gaynor

Hi there,on my nans gravestone her dates are 1905-1961 and her name is Ada Gertrude! But there are no Ada Gertrudes in the births for 1905,but there is one for 1904 ?There is an Ada Elizabeth in 1905, Is it likely to be her, could the dates on her stone be wrong?
