Hi Helen Yes there is a Welsh connection - her Paternal family name is KIRBY & REES and her Maternal family were DAVIES. Bronwyn sounds like a good reasoning. Thank you for that I will now have endless fun searching for Bronwyn KIRBY lol HOWEVER.............. Julie you could also be right as this photo ( taken we think very early 1900's her sister Dora was grt Granny was born 1902) of this baby has the biggest brown eyes I have ever seen and tons and tons of curls. Hi Deborah What do you already know about the child's family - could their surname be Brown? Otherwise, could her name have been Bronwen - is there a Welsh connection perhaps?
