Hi Katie. I've been contacted by my Dad's cousin son. My dad last heard of his cousin in the 1960's when he moved south. His son spotted the place of birth against some of my names - it isn't a common surname - and contacted me. He's in Hong Kong. At the other extreme I re-established contact with my Mum's aunt by marriage and a couple of weeks ago met a cousin for the first time. She's in her fifties and I didn't even know she existed until a couple of years ago. She lives about a 10 minute walk from me and I've helped her get started on her own tree. Helen

I know, I was getting quite worried. My relatives were dropping kiddies all over the place and I couldn't find a link to anyone descended from them!

I've finally found (or been found) by someone who is directly related to me! We are second cousins once removed (our common ancester is my great-great-grandfather and his great-grandfather).
