ME AGAIN... I just want to confirm we are looking at the same person here, where are you getting your info Sally, on disc? Thomas Davies is on the same page as the John family you have, but he's at the top & they're at the bottom, about 6 houses down the road in fact. This is who he's actually living with Thomas Davies 23 Nasborth, Pembrokeshire, Wales Farney Man Llanddewi Velfrey Pembrokeshire Eliza Griffiths 22 Daughter Llanddewi Velfrey Pembrokeshire Martha Griffiths 64 Wife Llanddewi Velfrey Pembrokeshire Thomas Griffiths 63 Head Llanddewi Velfrey Pembrokeshire Thomas Griffiths is a Blacksmith also, so Thomas is living with & employed by him. That must be why it says Journeyman(mis-transcribed as Farney man!) because Thomas Davies's relationship to Thomas Griffiths is an employee i.e. Journeyman. My brain hurts! Too many Thomas's Sam

I can see it Sally, instead of it saying what his relationship is to the head of the family, it says Journeyman, then in Occupation it says Blacksmith. A Journeyman is a skilled worker who is employed by somebody else. You can be a journeyman in all sorts of professions, I have one who is a Wheelwright. Do you have the image? I've saved it although the rest of the family must be on the previous page as Thomas is at the top. Email me if you'd like them Sam

This was a relationship not an occupation? Did he have an occupation?

Sally, Sure it isn't Journeyman? What's the head's occupation? If you list the details of the whole household it might be easier to figure it out. If it's fancy man that would be pretty interesting. Crista
