How can i find out where an old business was situa

Wonder if anyone can help me find out where a shoe/bootmakers shop was. I have just found an old postcard which has a message that says "Dear Auntie, this is our shop, love George." written on the back of it. The picture shows a shoe/boot shop called J. Baker & Sons Ltd. As i dont know the area where the shop is would there be any way of finding out where the shop was. Jackie |

You need to find a trade directory for the area and year you are interested in, you can buy them but this site has hundreds on it and is searchable. Remove the brackets from the web address http://www(.)historicaldirectories(.)org Steve. |
