I joined the mailing list for them and have just emailed them to say people were getting concerned about freereg. I have just had this reply Hi FreeREG has not been abandoned, we are still going, we now have stuff in place whereby we can get data, at present Worcestershire is at the forefront of this, the first CD's will arrive hopefully tomorrow,(was hoping today, not in post) I f any other coord wishes to get data, please contact me, I will talk you through what you need to do Anyone else, if you have data, we will take it, we are getting stuff all the time, the last biggie was 330,000 entries for STS, we have lots for SOM, 2 programmers are working on engine stuff, but don't forget, they work full time, this is a hobby Dave

You could try emailing them. You won't get a response which is confirmation in itself that freereg has been abandoned.

Hi doe's anyone know when freereg is likely to be up and running to serach, keep checking for nearly 2 year's now
