adding names to tree on Genes Connected when its n

I have got new info to add to my tree and it doesn't seem to be possible to add the info. I have the names Parker and Nobbs in 2 different routes and have recently discovered that they eventually join again. There seems to be no facility to add to an existing person and if I just put in the names it will continue as 2 trees everything dupilcated. --- Does this make sence how can I correct it I am all confused Cab anyone help Teresa

Hi Teresa I've an awful feeling it can't be done. I haven't actually had this problem myself but I'm sure I've seen other postings about it. Similarly you can't show cousins marrying - something that seems to crop up in everbodys tree. This is something GC has promised to look into in the past but still nothing has been done. Try emailing GC and ask them for an answer. Jeanette

I know exactly what you mean. My granmother and grandfather are cousins, and then in the next generation 2 cousins married. I stopped updated my tree on here and won't start again until the problem gets fixed because as already mentioned, everything gets repeated. I did think of buying some geneaology software that would do it and then uploading it to this site, but I don't know whether that would work either! Does anyone know?
