I can't see that it matters where it goes - as long as you can find it! I think it automatically gives you a "Shortcut" which locates the program.

Marion PAF stands for Personal Ancestral File and it is downloadable free from the Latter Day Saints site. You can record your family tree on it and print off the information in various formats. Go to Resource Centre (on the left of your GC screen), then click on Useful Links. Choose The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints site. Once there click on the Order/download products and then on to Free Software Downloads. I think the PAF option you need is the first one on the list. I believe you can export your GC tree via Gedcom to the PAF site. Have you also looked at the Tribal Pages site...another good place to save your tree - especially if you want to share it with family members. It's also free. http://www.tribalpages(.)com Remove brackets as usual. Good luck Dee X

Hi Dedrah, Well as I understand it the Irish pronounce Deirdre de- Edrah, though yours is pronounced deedrah....and mine is pronounced dear-dree! My mum got the spelling mucked up too...!! Though she swears that's was how it was spelt in the Names for Baby book! Hope you got the GEDCOM sorted! Don't forget to have a look at Tribal Pages too....great site! Dierdre X
