Hi Roger, Have found her in 1891 with her mother and grandmother:- Caroline Batten (Head) 64, W, born Marden, Kent, Washing Laundress. William Batten (Step Son), 30, S, born Hutton, Kent, Agricultural Labourer. Dorothy Matilda Batten (daughtet), 22, S, born Hutton, Kent. Emily Elizabeth Reader - mistranscribed as Batten (daughter), 30, M, born Hutton, Kent. Rose Elizabeth reader, (Grandaughter), 8, born East Farleigh, Kent. William Jasper Reader (Grandson), 5, born Hadlow, Kent. Amy Caroline Reader (Grandaughter), 1, born Tunbridge Kent. Ref. RG12/686 Folio 66 Page 11. Loose, Maidstone, Kent. Sorry can't make out the address, might be Passonage Farm? Hope this helps. Julie. |

Is this her Roger? Hello. I have been trying to find the family of Amy Caroline READER who was born in Tunbridge (in Sussex at the time) June Quarter 1890. She should therefore be on the 1891 census. If anyone has access to 1891 and the time to spare to do a look-up then I would be a very happy person. Roger |
