Hello everyone, I am hoping someone out there can help/point me in the right direction. My great grandmother Teresa Mary Jospehine Carroll was born in Ireland c1880. She married my gt grandfather Charles Marshfield in Plymouth in 1905 (at a RC church), I have the certificate and from this have her father's name, which is Martin. I have done searches on most of the well known websites, and I 'think' I have managed to find her birth in Dublin 1879. I now have the certificate and her parents were Martin and Mary Carroll (nee White). I have checked the 1881, 1891 and 1901 censuses for them all but nothing checks out. I understand the Irish censuses from 1861 - 1891 were destroyed. My questions are:- How can I prove I have the 'right' one? Is there anyway to find when she/they came to England? And probably lots of other things I can't think of at the moment because this has given me a MAJOR headache!! Hoping some kind soul can help before I end up in the nuthouse. Julie |

Hello Nichola, Thanks for your reply. I have tried a few of sites from your link but nothing as yet! It must have taken you ages to list them all. Best Wishes, Julie |
