Problems downloading an attachment

Just went back on this thread - realised the word h o t m a i l didn't come out - for some reason when you type it properly - it won't show - you must have thought me bonkers lol |

The small free email addresses won't accommodate large files as far as I understand. Usually these are picture or video files. Not sure if it will work, but can the person resend the attachment to you in a compressed (or zip) file? This will make the file smaller and may allow you to open it. Otherwise, I think you will have to pay for an email account that will take larger attachments. Dee X |

Melvyn Is your email a hot mail account? I have heard other people say that some images are just too large to go into a hot mail account - so you will need an alternative email address. I could be wrong - but then somebody on here will know for definite. Gaynor |

Could someone please help i am trying to download an attachment that some some nice sent me in an email but it will not download i never usally have a problem. When i go to down load it a message come up" the file may not be supported by aol" it than tells me that "aol will try to open it as a text file" it comes back to me saying it is to large" Why is this happening? and what do i do to correct it. |
