What is a 'Prototype Wireman'?

This is a very recent occupation - 1985 - but I know that some of you have lists of occupations and may know what it is. Or because it's recent, maybe one of you out there actually is one!! His occupation a year earlier is an electronics assembler (and I know what that is!) so I guess it's something similar, but because my husband and I had never heard of it before, we were interested to find out. Thank you! |

Hi Mandy A prototype wireman is someone who works in the research and development part of a company, wiring up new (prototype) equipment. Would be a qualified Electronics engineer to be able to do this work. Hope you are looking after Somerset for me. Mal. |
