I'm trying to find out more about my GrandFathers movements during world war 2. Wondered if anyone knew of any organisation or association for the RAOC as that's about all we know also any reference works out there? What we do know is that he spent time in North Africa, Italy and perhaps Pakistan. Other than that not a great deal else. As RAOC was replaced in 1993 info seems hard to come by so any help greatly appreciated.

Morning Wayne I've just seen your message. The R.A.O.C. was based around the Camberley area. If you put 'R.A.O.C. Camberley' into your search engine it should come up with some sites. One of the sites is the Museum at Deepcut. It has recently been re-vamped. The people who work there are extremely helpful. They may be worth a call. Failing that, if I can help at all let me know. Kind Regards Sarah.
